El Capitan Download From App Store

I believe that El Capitan is the last supported software for this hardware. I'm looking for an OS X El capitan.app download but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I managed to find an OSX El Capitan.dmg file, but that doesn't seem to work with the createinstallmedia tool. Any help with this would be.
